What is the cheapest way to go on holiday?

We all love a good holiday and it can be just the break you need away from work and the daily routines of life. Holidays are often expensive and if you are looking at going abroad, often you will be looking in to the thousands. If you have children and need to go in school holidays then you will find that the prices almost double during these times of year.

Not everyone can afford a holiday year upon year, but if you are prepared to sacrifice a few luxuries then it can be done on the cheap. The cheapest way to holiday is usually in a tent and although the thought puts many people off, it can be great fun and can open your mind up to a whole new way of holidaying.

Camping is great fun for kids too and you may find that you can afford to go on a few camping holidays within a year as opposed to one holiday abroad every few years. When looking at camping holidays, decide if you want to just have a site that you can pitch your tent or if you want one that has good on site facilities such as play parks and pools.
